He loves the food at Omar's and enjoys coming to Omar's 'barbershop' for grooming to see all his friends with and without wings! He loves to coo and whistle but he chooses not to talk. His big brother/cousin Morgan the Greenwing Macaw is always talking so Gio cant get a word in! Gio has a large extended family and he is very loved!" |

She will walk right up to him and try to take a tennis ball out of his mouth, then climb up over his snout and head and sit on his back until he gets up and takes her for a 'ride'." |

Spike AKA Catcheput (French for PotHolder). "Our youngest in the flock is Spike. The Greys call him Catcheput. He is truly the most beautiful of the cockatoos and parrots, in the kingdom. Suffice it to say that Spike is a wood destroyer - it's almost impossible to keep his cage full of wood toys." |

We have 5 (out of 6) Omar parrots, all of which we adore. The Midgets have these little loving attitudes (notorious for green cheekies) that keep us coming back for more! "We are so lucky to have Stella in our lives. We found her at Omar's in Lake Forest and brought her home in March 2009. She turned 1 in August 2009 and can already say "Hi" and bark like our dogs. She has lots of toys and puzzles and loves to destroy everything she can get her beak on! She loves to sit on her swing which we keep on our patio under a market umbrella and she sleeps on a perch in our bedroom. Stella loves going on dog walks and even holds the leash in her beak. Stella loves to eat chicken soft tacos, Carne Asada, sausage, okra, green beans, watermelon & walnuts. WE LOVE OUR STELLA! Thanks to everyone at Omar's, you guys are the best!" |

“Sunny-girl is the life of the party. She talks and sings "Old MacDonald" but only the "quack, quack here and there" part. She recently learned the squeaky noise that my dogs favorite toy makes "not fun". Oh well, we love her so much she can make any noise she pleases, she is the boss! Sunny recently won a beautiful new cage at the informative Amazon Seminar raffle last summer in San Juan with Omar and Carolyn. We are so grateful for their generosity and having such a lovely store to get our supplies and get to socialize with other bird parents! We all thank you Omar's!!!” |
